New Medicare cards by April 2018

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015, requires the removal of Social Security Numbers (SSNs) from all Medicare cards by April 2019. This means that all Medicare patients will receive a new card from CMS according to this Act by this summer, but we wanted patient to know in advance and be prepared of this change.
